Building a brand foundation is essential to the process of building a business. This session will focus on the creation of the visual aspects of the brand and take a small dive into types of brands and logo creation. We will spend time in areas such as type treatment, colors, logo, and some practical considerations like keeping a pulse on what is being nonverbally communicated. We will look at format, flexibility, usage, readability and memorability/uniqueness. We will also cover legal considerations and some basics on how to do research into logos, concluding with a conversation on style guides. The program will take place from 6:00 to 7:00PM.  There is free parking at our location (Ascender, 6401 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh PA). Light snacks will be provided. What is the Starters Series? Each lecture, workshop, discussion or panel is presented by an expert in that topic area and is designed for individuals looking to learn more about the subject through the lense of entrepreneurship.
